Harry Ferguson made a great change in tractor design when he designed his revolutionary three-point-linkage system, allowing both tractor and implement to work together. His ideas are still present in current tractor production.

The history of Massey Harris dates back to 1847 when Daniel Massey opened a workshop to build farm implements, located in Newcastle Ontario, Canada. 10 years later, Alanson Harris established a foundry to make and repair farm machinery. Massey and Harris merged in 1891, the company being responsible for producing the first commercially successful self-propelled combine in 1938. In 1995, Massey Ferguson was purchased by US-based AGCO Corp. and has had continued success in the marketplace. Be sure to browse the rest of the site for info on Massey Ferguson Parts.
